My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cleo is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Miniature Australian Shepherd, who has been a beloved part of our family since she was a puppy. She is white and black with distinctive brown paws and is known for her intelligence, loyalty, and playful nature. Cleo was purchased from a breeder in Mansfield, TX, and has been with the same family ever since. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and has no significant medical history, making her a healthy and happy companion. Cleo thrives on play and exercise, with a particular love for fetching. She enjoys getting her energy out in a yard rather than going on walks, and her ideal environment would include space where she can run and play. Though she currently lives with a toddler, Cleo would likely prefer a home with older children or no children at all. She requires ongoing attention and mental stimulation through games and activities. Cleo has been around other dogs and is generally sweet, but she should be supervised during interactions as she can be cautious around unfamiliar dogs or people. Cleo is both crate trained and potty trained, making her easy to manage in the home. While she is not a fan of walks on a leash, she does enjoy other activities and has an eagerness to learn new tricks. She is very intelligent and loves mental challenges, making her a great candidate for a family who enjoys teaching their dog new things. Cleo loves to stay close to her people, often snuggling and seeking out affection, though she is more cautious around strangers. We are putting Cleo up for adoption because, with our growing family, we are unable to provide her the attention and stimulation she needs. She would thrive in a different family setting where she can get the time and care she deserves. At 4 years old, Cleo is the perfect balance of playful energy and affectionate companionship. As a Miniature Australian Shepherd, she brings intelligence, loyalty, and a deep connection to her family. If you are looking for a sweet, loving dog with a lot of personality, Cleo would make a wonderful addition to the right home. She is ready to find a family that can offer her the attention and love she deserves. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Cleo, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
