Super sweet, adorable and friendly black male lab mix puppy.

Meet Nacho, a very friendly little dude with just the sweetest personality! This young pup loves to play with other dogs, is very outgoing with humans and loves to cuddle. Nacho was found running loose on a busy highway in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. A rescuer scooped him up before he could get hurt, and brought him home to foster. From the start Nacho was very friendly and immediately willing to approach humans and be rescued. He will hop up in anyone's lap for a quick cuddle, give kisses and snuggle up under your chin. He is very friendly and playful with other dogs of all sizes and ages, walks very nicely on a leash and has learned to Sit for treats. A black lab mix, he's probably going to be medium to large sized. He listens really well, sticks close to his person on walks, and can be a little cautious when he sees a strange dog but redirects very quickly with treats. Nacho has been around young kids and on a recent visit in our vet's office, did a great job sitting and waiting to be petted by small children.

Additional adoption info

We ask the potential adopter to fill out an application. We set up a meet and greet with the foster parent. If all goes well and they would like to adopt we have them sign an adoption contract.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, have current vaccines and are microchipped prior to adoption.

Fees range between $150 - $300

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-profit dog rescue in San Diego, CA

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue was founded by volunteers in San Diego. Our goal is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome" rescued dogs from San Diego and Baja California.

We love Baja and understand that it is a struggle for some of the people to provide a proper home and care for their dogs. We rescue dogs that are running through traffic, starving on the streets and have no one to care for them. Sadly, many are in poor condition and need medical care. We provide that care with the help of volunteers and veterinarians on both sides of the border. Our adoption fees are used to pay for the care of these pups.

Our dogs and puppies are kept in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. If you see a dog/puppy you would like to meet, we will put you in touch with the foster family. We also do adoption events around San Diego, please check our website for upcoming events.

Our "Baja Blends" as we like to call them make wonderful pets and will shower you with love to show you how grateful they are to be in a loving home.
