My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Phoebe! This enchanting 10-year-old long-haired gray and white tuxedo cat is a vision of beauty with her distinctive ear tufts, large fluffy paws, and captivating green eyes.

Phoebe's favorite pastimes include playing with strings and wand toys, basking in sunny spots, and watching birds flutter outside her window. Treats are the way to her heart, and her affectionate nature shines through in her head-bonking and leg-rubbing gestures. While Phoebe adores attention—whether it’s brushing, petting, or laptime—her independent spirit and diva tendencies sometimes shine through, and she may let you know she’s had enough with a sassy little nip. We believe she’ll thrive in a stable, loving home that respects her boundaries and cherishes her unique personality. A kind purrson partially sponsored Phoebe's adoption fee to help her find the perfect forever family, so she is just $25 to adopt.

After nearly two years at the shelter, Phoebe is currently taking a break from shelter life and enjoying the comforts of foster care. To meet this stunning tuxie girl, call HART at (805) 927-7377or fill out an adoption application today—she’s ready to bring a little magic into your life!

More about this rescue

HART is a hands-on volunteer organization working to make a difference in our community of San Luis Obispo County by rescuing abandoned animals, trapping and neutering stray and feral cats, and fostering sick and needy animals until we can find the best matched homes for them. Our unique cage-fee shelter allows cats to roam freely and socialize with each other. We are a no-kill shelter.
