IGGY is an adorable terrier mix that is about 1 year old and 8 lbs. His hair is soft, so we think he may have some poodle or chi in him too. We rescued him from Tepic, Mexico, This is a cooperative rescue with our Mexico partner, SanPancho Animales Rescue. He has been on a long road. in a few different locations on this rescue so it's no wonder he is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly to you . Given time and a permanent home, he is showing to be to us already.

Iggy will be in Rhode Island for meeting and greets on December 12. We are looking for a family that understands these little dogs can be gently and fierce too. There is nothing they cannot do! They can hike and walk and run with the best of them, yet they are wonderful cuddlers you can take everywhere with you since they are so tiny. The best of both worlds.
He will be vaccinated as needed, blood tests, spay and microchipped before arrival.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
