Hi Everyone, my name is Eli…I am a happy, playful pup about 8-9 months old! I am a silly, goofy boy and I love toys, playing with my foster’s 3 small children, and playing with other dogs!
Here is my story - A few months ago my siblings and my mom were dropped off at an overpopulated shelter in NC. Furever Home Dog Rescue transported us to NJ to live in foster homes until we found our furever homes. I am happy to say we were all adopted. Unfortunately my adopted family reluctantly surrendered me back to FHDR because I was vomiting multiple times a day in their home. Lucky for me, I am now back with my foster family and her 3 young children.
The good news is after a few medical tests, we found the culprit - I have Megaesophagus which explained why I was not holding my food down. The vomiting has now stopped and I am doing great since I am fed smaller meals throughout the day…and I also eat while sitting upright in a Bailey chair - check out the photo of me sitting in my chair! When its feeding time, I know how to get into the Bailey chair all by myself - it’s fun and I can’t wait to show my new family!! Since I am still a puppy, I could grow out of this condition as I get older and bigger. Either way, my future is bright and I am looking for a loving home that will continue to spoil me with love and attention!
I am neutered, up to date on vetting and micro chipped. I love playing with toys & other dogs when not on a leash (I can be barky when meeting dogs on leash) and running around the yard. I am housetrained and crate trained, too! My favorite activity is to be right by your side and to sit in your lap and cuddle. I know I will make one family incredibly happy when they welcome me into their home. Everyone says once you meet me, you will fall in love!
Eli is not with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping to network this pup for an adopter. He is hoping you have a furever home for him! Please email FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting this sweet boy!
