My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Good afternoon, my name is Russell, are you in need of any assistance today?" This sweet little 2-month-old Cavapoo puppy is just as full of life and adventure as the Up character he’s named after. Like any typical puppy, Russell is doing well with housetraining but still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered dog.

Russell can often be found investigating the world with his mouth (so be prepared for some playful nibbles throughout the day), but he’s also a social butterfly. This pup loves hanging out in the house, running around the yard, and making new friends—whether they’re dogs, kids, or grown-ups. He’s always up for a game of fetch or some fun with his toys.

Russell’s joyful personality shines through in everything he does. He enjoys chewing on his favorite toys, sitting in your lap for a cuddle, and following you around wherever you go. He’s a curious little guy, and his energy makes him a bundle of fun to be around. Whether it’s playing a game of fetch, exploring the yard, or simply keeping you company, Russell is happiest when he’s by your side. He’s also learning to walk nicely on a leash, and he can help you cross the street or your yard!

Russell is always ready to announce his presence with a bark—whether it’s play barking, when he wants attention or welcoming you with a cheerful “I love you!” Whether it’s a game, a walk, or just cuddling up on the couch, Russell is the perfect companion for any adventure.

His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
