My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet JuJu, an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs 15 pounds and is ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl is looking for a cozy spot to enjoy her golden years and promises to be the perfect low-maintenance companion.

JuJu has a 2/6 heart murmur—but it doesn't seem to slow her down or impact her happy, easy going demeanor.

JuJu is house and crate trained but is perfectly fine being left loose in the house. Her favorite place to sleep is a comfy dog bed in her foster mom’s room. She has low exercise needs, spending most of her days napping, but she does enjoy leisurely walks. While she can manage a few stairs, a full staircase might be a challenge—but at her petite size, she’s easy to carry if needed.

This friendly girl gets along great with dogs and cats, but if there is another dog in the home they should be pretty laid-back. Though she hasn’t been exposed to children yet, we believe she’d do well with kids aged 8 and up who are respectful and gentle. JuJu loves car rides, curling up in your lap for cuddles, and simply being by your side.

JuJu would thrive in a quiet home where she can relax and soak up the love she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable companion to share your life and your couch, JuJu is ready to fill your heart with happiness!

Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
