Barbara Jean is currently available to meet you in person at Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center located at 307 West Broadway, near Canal Street. The Lifesaving Center is open to visitors 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7 days a week (with last adoptions done at 6:30 pm).
We recommend coming in as soon as possible to meet her as we adopt on a first-come, first-served basis and do not hold or reserve animals.
Barbara Jean is a sweet and playful 2-year-old female brown tabby. She loves to engage with people and is always ready for some fun playtime. Her affectionate nature makes her a great companion, and her playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours.
Barbara Jean spent a a few weeks in a foster home where they absolutely fell in love with her. "Barbara Jean will take a day or two to warm up but she starts trusting you, she becomes extremely loving and attaching.
She is very independent while always needing the connection. She is a chilled little mama who loves to be hugged and petted. She will allow to be pet on her stomach and will not attempt to scratch you.
She was the best foster mama and was heartbroken to have to bring her back. She is independent yet loving ... so sweet and present that she made my heart melt. I wish I could have adopted her myself. "
