My name is Lu!

Lu is a 3 year old Shepard mix looking for a new home. We adopted Lu about 2 years ago from KC Pet Project and despite our best efforts he has resource guarding issues with our older dog. He is a lovable goofy dog who loves walks and being outside as much as laying about on the couch. Lu should live in a single pet home due to his resource guarding. We have not had issues with him resource guarding from us. He is very well trained otherwise and is familiar with an e-collar. He knows place, sit, stay, heel, and come. He does get uncomfortable around small children but he will remove himself when he gets uncomfortable. We have two small children and have not had issues. For any interested new families we would be willing to provide as much information and answer any questions about Lu.

Full disclosure, Lu did bite my forearm in November while breaking up a fight between him and our other dog. No puncture wounds and did not require stitches.
