What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
With a heavy heart, we are looking for a new home for our beloved Skye due to significant changes in our schedule starting in 2025. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide her with the time, attention, and quality of life she deserves.
Skye is a sweet, lovable dog who has been pampered and spoiled her entire life. She does have generalized anxiety and thrives on routine and closeness to her people. Despite her size, Skye considers herself a “big lap dog” and loves nothing more than being near you. Her excitement when greeting you—even if you’ve just stepped out of the room—will make you feel like the most important person in her world.
Key Things to Know About Skye:
• Crate-Trained: Skye feels safest in her crate when left alone. Before letting her out, having a treat and saying “sit” usually helps manage her initial excitement.
Affectionate Personality: She loves to ; in the kitchen, cuddle on the couch, and follow you around the house.
