You’ve probably noticed that Coconut here is down a leg. Or maybe you haven’t – it’s hard to notice anything past a face this cute. He has tons of adorable facial expressions, aided by the fact that his lips often get stuck on his teeth! Coconut came to us with his back right leg seriously injured. X-rays showed he had a rostro-medially displaced femur from an older injury. He ended up having to have the limb amputated. It hasn’t slowed him down at all though! He can still run and play just like any other dog now that he’s recovered. It’s just made him extra special.
Coconut is a great leash walker. He loves his treats and takes them gently from your hand. He enjoys attention and being pet, and will stretch out when your scratching his favorite spots! He doesn’t seem to know any tricks yet, but he comes across as eager to please. He has a low to medium energy level depending on the circumstances.
