Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, friends! I'm Chloe, a sweet and adorable 14-pound Chihuahua, and at 10 years old, I'm on the lookout for a new snuggle buddy!
I've been through a lot after losing my two owners, and I'm ready to settle down in a loving home where I can enjoy my golden years. Being shuffled around hasn't been much fun for me! I love to explore both inside and outside the house, and I'm pretty good at climbing stairs too! I take a vitamin called Cosequin, which helps my joints feel great!
Did I mention how much I love snuggling? I would be thrilled to cuddle up with my new human in bed at night! I've been in a home where I wasn't left alone much, so I think I'd be happiest with retired humans or those who work from home.
One of my favorite things is running around outside-it's the best but I definitely need a fenced yard! I can be a little protective over my food, but I promise I have a lot of love to give. I haven't had much experience with cats or other dogs, so I might be the perfect little princess to have all to yourself.
I can't wait to find my forever human! Could that be you?

We are a foster-based, volunteer-driven rescue. All SDRO dogs available for adoption are listed on our website. The listing includes information to help you decide if one of our dogs is right for your household. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please complete an online application. If your home suits the dog's needs, we'll call you to discuss your application and ask any follow-up questions. Our experienced adoption coordinator will discuss the dog’s needs with you to help determine if your home is the right fit. Since we do not operate a shelter and all our dogs are in foster care, a meet-and-greet will be your first opportunity to meet the dog face-to-face.
