My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Teddy is a 2-year-old 19 lbs cutie patootie! He is probably an Aussie Shepherd X with a big smile and fluffy tail. He has a confidence about him and easily fit in with the other dogs in his dog test. He walks well on leash, is not reactive and has some basic obedience skills. Teddy did great during his vet exam, and was excellent in the car. Teddy is going to be a great addition to one lucky family here in the PNW!

Foster Update: Teddy is a sweet bundle looking for an active family, a dog sibling would be a plus! Teddy arrived smiling, wagging his tail and ready for cuddles. He is a soft (both in temperament and feel) dog who is gentle and loving, eager to play and please and sensitive. He plays well with dogs of all sizes , loves smaller dogs and enjoys his cuddle time with his humans. He meets other dogs cautiously and plays gently with dogs and toys. He is, true to breed, very smart and responsive to verbal cues. He is house trained and walks well on a leash with a training collar. Also true to breed, he does have a small whine when he wants your attention or when first crated, but will settle down -- he is working on crate training and getting better and better. He is slow to warm to people so we do not recommend for young kids, but would probably be fine with teenagers. Teddy would be a great candidate for long hikes and walk, agility or any other mentally stimulating activity. Breed experience is a huge plus!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate.
