What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Dominic is a human on four legs. He is an agreeable, loving pet looking to please his owner as he looks for direction on how to best serve you. When he is not looking for direction he
is trying to cuddle, lick, hug, or just be near you. With all this love and intelligence comes a level of curiosity of “what are you doing with that…” to “what is this to eat?”
Unfortunately, he is a scared of other cats and dogs. his catlike mohawk and curled rigid tale will indicate his fear, his natural animalistic prey tendencies infiltrate his big ‘ol head. Because of this, he needs to be redirected before he starts to bark, whimper, shake or pull on a leash or when he is enjoying himself watching life exist through a window or door. For this reason, I’ve have been working on training him with various commands such as sit, stay, off, wait, turn, leave it, let’s go, roll over, with me (to redirect pulling on walks), heel, and let’s make a deal (paw handshake).
Very food motivated and opportunist.
