Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Are you an experienced GSD owner? Have you been looking for a gorgeous guy to be your loyal buddy for life? Steve French is the dog for you!
This beautiful, 1 year old, German Shephard arrived at FVHA as a stray.
Steve is a special guy who will need a special owner. Weighing in at 80lbs, Steve French is a lot of dog who will need a home with plenty of space to stretch his long legs! An active owner with a fenced in yard would be ideal. The stress of the shelter has been weighing heavily on this intelligent, active, young dog. The only thing on Steve`s Christmas list is a furever home that will give him the patience and guidance he needs to show you how wonderful he truly is! He loves playing fetch and is an excellent walking companion!
Steve has done well meeting children here at the shelter but would be best suited to a home with older children who have experience living with large breed dogs. He has big feelings when it comes to meeting other dogs so we would encourage a dog meet prior to adoption and slow introductions to any new furry family members.
Steve is available for foster-to-adopt if you need more time to decide if he is the right fit for your home!
Steve French is neutered, up to date on core vaccinations, has received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
If you have any questions about Steve French or our foster/adoption process, please contact us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and make an appointment to meet with him today!
