Elle!

Animal Profile: Elle is an approximately 5 month old 32 lb female pup joining us from Hawaii to find her forever home. She's very calm for a puppy and social towards all -- dogs, cats and men/women alike. She would make a great hiking buddy! She does have a healed broken toe, which has been cleared by a vet. 

Foster Update:  Elle is an absolute dream puppy! She is sweet, happy, cuddly, playful, and learns quickly. She's been doing great with the other animals in the house, though she's still learning not to chase the kitty. She and our resident pup, Leia, love to wrestle and play chase.  Elle also loves napping on anything soft that she can find and is very food motivated. Her favorite trick is walking through and rubbing up against your legs like a cat. Her coat is soft, and shiny, and she doesn't seem to shed so far. She's mostly quiet, but occasionally likes to give people walking by a friendly bark. Her leash skills are also coming along nicely. Overall Elle is pretty calm and adapts quickly to new people and environments! 

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from Hawaii thru our rescue partner Three Ring Ranch, and will be arriving to Seattle area foster care on Nov 29, 2024. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care.
