My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred is the gentle soul of the bunch. This 12-week-old, 9.5 pound Rottweiler mix is happiest lounging by your side, watching his siblings’ antics. He joins in the fun just long enough to stretch his legs before he’s back to snuggles and sweet moments. Fred loves to climb into laps for a good cuddle session and has a calm, confident way about him that makes everyone fall in love. Like his siblings, has been wonderful with kids, big dogs, and cats through the gate.

If you’re looking for a cuddly companion, Fred is your guy! His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
