This is one of three puppies abandoned by their owners. They were on their own until the Animal League was able to pull them into our foster care. Approximately four months old as of Dec 1 2024, Shar Pei mix, and currently weighing 16-20 lbs. Housetrained if outside every 2-3 hours, does fine overnight. They are learning what it feels like to be cared for, always having food to eat and a gentle hand. This is shy little Ophelia and she is spayed and vaccinated. All animals are current on shots (DHLPP and rabies) and spayed or neutered. If a pet is too young to be altered, a spay/neuter contract defining a surgery date is required prior to adoption. Anyone interested in a adopting a pet must complete an adoption application. Reference checks and a home visit are also part of the application process. If the home check goes well, an appointment will be arranged to meet the potential companion. A contract is required for each adoption.
