Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Perhaps you saw the news reports about an individual bringing over 800 pet mice to the New Hampshire SPCA and wondered what would become of them. It is an overwhelming number, and all of the females were potentially pregnant, meaning the final number will be much higher. Shelters all over New England are trying to help. We took in five of the mice, and one of the females had 14 babies shortly after going to a foster home. That means we have quite a few fancy pet mice looking for homes. According to AnimalHumaneSociety.org, "Mice are curious and charming animals that tend to be active at various times of the day. They are very social with each other, and females do especially well in a group setting. Males can be kept together if introduced at a young age and given adequate room." As you can see from the pictures, these guys are pretty cute and not too hard to care for.
If you are interested in adopting a pair, please fill out an adoption application medfieldshelter.com/adopt or send an email to adam@medfieldshelter.com

More about this shelter
The Medfield Animal Shelter's mission is to rescue lost or abandoned animals and provide for their comfort and safety until they are reunited with their owners or placed in new homes. We are a no-kill shelter, which means no pet will ever be euthanized because it has run out of time to find a home. We are committed to ending the overpopulation of pets that results in an estimated 5 million companion pets being euthanized at shelters in the U.S. every year, therefore all cats, rabbits and dogs adopted from us are spayed and neutered prior to adoption. We also sponsor a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats at our shelter once a month.
