What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Eliot is a sun-loving couch potato! I adopted Eliot from Tulsa Animal Welfare at 9 months old and he just turned 5. He loves his daily neighborhood walk and loves his people, but he gets pretty scared of new people. He would probably fit best with a couple or small family of adults who can give him lots of attention and snuggles.
Eliot can be extremely anxious meeting new people. This anxiety can make him appear to be aggressive until he warms up to and trusts the new person. Eliot attends dog daycare about once a week, but he is the only dog in my household, so I'm not sure how he would do with a housemate.
Eliot thrives on routine! His behavior is always better when he understands what to expect in his day/week. He is house-trained, leash-trained, and used to being allowed on furniture (except the bed!)
He sleeps on the living room sofa at night and would need to be crate-trained if you prefer to use a crate!
Eliot is a special boy who needs a patient and loving household!
