During playgroups Yam Casserole (YC) was such a good and friendly boy. He was eager to make new canine companions, and he worked the yard like a salesman on a car lot. He made sure that everyone knew that he was there for fun! Even when another male dog tried to pounce on him, YC stayed calm and collected and did not tip. He is even-tempered and did well with both males and females.
Although he is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $400 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.
