Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lucy! *IS A DOOR BOLTER*
Lucy is a sweet and affectionate Parti Schnauzer with a docked tail and a big heart. To our surprise, she wasn’t the Shih Tzu we originally thought, but a beautiful Schnauzer who shows signs of having had multiple litters. Sadly, it’s likely Lucy was used for breeding and discarded when she was no longer considered "useful."
Despite her past, Lucy adores being near her humans and has a playful spirit—fetch is one of her favorite activities. She’s fantastic in her crate, only barking when it’s time to eat or go outside. Lucy is house-trained, letting you know she needs to go out by either barking at the back door or running back and forth. She’s also great with cats and small dogs, though she hasn’t been tested with larger dogs yet.
Lucy’s story is a reminder of the need for stronger animal welfare laws to protect dogs from backyard breeding. Now, she’s ready to leave her past behind and find a loving forever home where she can truly thrive. Could you be the one to give Lucy the life she deserves?
