My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coming 12/10 from a kill shelter in Texas. She has been in and out of the shelter since Feb and has been in foster care but with no interest just because she is Heartworm positive. Our rescue will pay for the full treatment at our vet in Golden or reimburse you what it would cost us to treat her there. This is a non contagious disease and shouldnt have any long term effects, treatment is just a long process.

She is dog, cat and kid friendly!
Shelter notes; Low energy, allows greets from males and females, social with everyone, walks around and explores, mostly kept to self, soft, shy

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
