My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is such a great gal. She loves to play and her best friend is Diesel. Betty is now 3 years old and a shepherd mix. Betty has had her vaccinations and does great with other dogs and people. She just needs an opportunity to show you what a lovely doggie and pet she can be. Betty is large in size and is house trained, to a dog door. She is ready for her family

Go meet their pets

12 Hills Dog Rescue asks that you call for appointments to meet our pets. Since the rescue is on our family farm, where we live, we want to have the freedom to choose when those times and dates of adoption are.

We live 30 miles from Sioux City, IA (4 miles from Winnebago) turn left and go east on H Ave. for 2 1/2 miles.
Or 2 miles north of the Walthill community (turn east on H Ave and go 21/2 miles or 12 hills to our farm.

More about this rescue

12 Hills Dog Rescue is a no-kill rescue taking in dogs that have been abused or abandoned. We began as a semi-retired couple, and added one part-time person to assist. In 2015 we applied and received our 501c3 non-profit status. We need volunteers to walk, brush and help socialize the dogs that we care for.
