My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Franz (of Hans and Franz) and he’s here to pump 👏🏻👏🏻 you up! Franz is a 14 week old, male, Airedale terrier. He and his littermates were surrendered by a local backyard breeder after encountering issues with the city over the number of dogs/noise on the property. He’s a BIG boy and his bloodlines are said to contain “Oorang” lineage which means he will likely be 75+ lbs at maturity. Franz is an extremely smart boy who will thrive in an experienced home that enjoys engaging the brain of a smart dog. He’s food motivated and eager to please. He also enjoys playing with other dogs. Due to the breed traits of Airedales, we are requiring a fenced in yard.

Franz is being fostered in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
