True to her Beagle nature, Reesa is an active girl who loves to explore, especially when food is involved. She’s a bit of a “food detective,” so be prepared for her to investigate anything that might have a snack hidden inside! With her strong prey drive, Reesa would do best in a home without cats, but she’s done wonderfully with all the dogs in her foster home, no matter their size – she absolutely thrives when she has a doggie companion to play with.
Reesa isn’t just about fun and games, though – she’s also a cuddle queen. When it's time to relax, she’ll happily curl up next to you on the couch or even sleep by your side at night, making her the perfect snuggle buddy.
Reesa is house-trained, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home. While she’s not a fan of the crate, she’s proven to be a well-mannered and loving companion. If you are interested in adopting Reesa, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
