A few weeks ago, Colby was found near a liquor store off Jefferson with two husky/shepherd buddies he had made, desperately trying to hop into any car that would stop. While his friends were happily reunited with their families, no one came forward to claim Colby.
Now safe and cared for, Colby has shown himself to be an absolute sweetheart. This adorable guy adores people and is a true attention-lover who thrives on human connection. He’s fantastic with other dogs, making him a great companion for households with furry friends. But Colby’s favorite thing? Snuggling and playing with stuffed animals! He can often be found happily carrying a “stuffie” around, treating it like his prized possession.
Though he’s safe for now, Colby urgently needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can continue his journey toward finding his forever family. He’s ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of snuggles to a home that will cherish him as much as he deserves. Could that home be yours?
Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
