Meet Sloan!
Sloan is a 5-year-old, 52-pound sweetheart who is as easygoing as they come. With her gentle demeanor and heartwarming personality, Sloan is ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe and cherished.

This lovely girl is a dream on a leash—walking calmly and even doing adorable little hops and happy dances during strolls. She seems to be potty trained, as she takes care of business outside right away. Sloan is incredibly polite, showing no reaction to barking dogs and wagging her tail happily at others through the fence.

Sloan loves treats and will win your heart with her sweet, gentle nature. She’s still learning to trust when it comes to petting and may flinch or shy away, especially around her head. It’s clear she’s had a tough past, but she remains kind and patient, asking for love at her own pace. With time, patience, and understanding, she’s sure to blossom into the most loyal companion.

Bath time? No problem! Sloan is a champ in the tub and enjoys staying clean and fresh. Her calm, loving presence makes her a wonderful fit for anyone looking for a quiet, affectionate friend.

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Tuesday 11:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
