Meet Tatiana from our “Olympics Women Hopefuls” litter. She and her sister Vahine have already overcome more challenges than any puppy should have to face. They were abandoned on the streets and left for dead before a family brought them to our attention during a Sterilization Clinic in June. A group of young boys had them, and one joked that the helpless pups should be shot, which was when we stepped in.
Our volunteers took them to our shelter and the pups started their path to recovery. They were just about ready to “drop in” for a shot at the ultimate gold aka getting adopted, but unfortunately, Tatiana suffered a setback. She showed some skin issues, that needed to be assessed. Currently she is talking some medicine, that helps her to not feel itchy. Thankfully the medicine works really well and Tatiana is thriving and happy as can be. Our vets are helping to figure out what causes the skin reactions. Please glaldy reach out to us, if you have any questions!
At the shelter, I am the life of the party. I’m told I have the biggest personality and a heart of gold. I love to play so much! I’m always the first dog to get the zoomies, and I love getting all the other dogs involved. They say I can be a bit of a drama queen and when I play I make sounds like a dinosaur, whatever that is! The shelter staff say I am very confident with dogs I know, but take a moment to warm up to new friends (human and dog). If you spent just a day with me, though, we would definitely be besties, I promise.
Even when I’m not playing with my friends, the staff say I am the most entertaining little dog and make them laugh with my antics. I’m always up to something, and they say with me around there is never a dull moment. At the end of the day, I love to curl up and snuggle with the volunteers, and even give some face licks!
I didn't mention yet, that I am fully crate trained and I know basic commands, like Sit, Down, Stay and Paw. I still need some training on the leash because I tend to pull - I just can't contain my excitement when we go for walks!
I would love to find a forever home just like my sister Vahine. I hear it is the best thing ever! Are you looking for a new partner in crime? I promise you won’t regret choosing me!
Yours truly,
Tatiana
