My name is Zucchini!

Hi humans! My name is Zucchini and I am a handsome pup looking for someone to love me forever. I am almost 1 year old and weigh about 45 pounds with a beautiful tri-color coat. I spent about half my life living in the shelter and am so happy to have a cozy home and people to love. I am a higher energy guy that gets along with every dog I meet and I love to play! But I also know how to calm down and would love nothing more than to spend evenings snuggled up with you. I am friendly with people and am good with older children, but my puppy energy may be a bit too much for small children. I am curious about the cat here, but have not been aggressive. I am house trained and use a dog door. The crate is not my favorite place and I do not love to be left alone, but I am working on it. I am also still working on my leash training and basic skills, but am smart and eager to please. I would do best in a home with a yard, another dog to play with, and patient owners that will help me learn how to be the best boy I can be. I am a sensitive guy that loves to explore -- there are so many fun things to sniff and explore outside of the shelter! Lucky for you, I should be pretty easy to groom. I have the sweetest eyes and will be your best buddy. I cannot wait to meet you and see if you can be my forever home!
