My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Churro, a delightful one-year-old male dog who is eager to find his forever home! This handsome boy is highly trained and ready to impress with his impressive skill set, which includes commands like sit, down, stay, and go to bed. Churro is also kennel and house trained, making him a fantastic addition to any household. Churro walks beautifully on a leash and is easy to groom, thanks to his medium coat.

He is known for his friendly and social nature, getting along wonderfully with humans, dogs, and even cats! As a neutered male who has completed full health protocols, he is not only a loving companion but also a responsible choice.

Sadly, Churro was surrendered due to his previous owner's health issues, which means he is hoping to find a new family that will cherish him as much as he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is ready to become part of your daily life, Churro might just be the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
