Hi! My name is Brigitte! I am a beautiful 4 year old flashy fawn girl that is an adopted return owner surrender due to behavioral characteristics not conducive to my current family and changes in the family dynamics. I am described as active, playful, protective, food motivated, and affectionate! I am said to be dog friendly with the boxer in the home, but am dog selective and like to be the boss when at the dog park so a meet and greet is encouraged. I am said to be kid friendly (currently live with 8 and 10 year olds) but I like to play rough and will jump, nibble on ears, nose, and ankles. I need help learning leash manners because I will bark, pull a lot, and can be reactive. I am crate trained but will need assistance learning house training manners in my forever home. At night I sleep in my crate and when the humans are away I am good when crated. If left alone to roam, I will chew on things I'm not supposed to and help myself to any food within reach. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences or gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, rubber balls, playing fetch, chewing on balls, cuddling, getting attention from the humans, chasing dogs along the fence at the dog park, and horse play with people and the resident boxer! If you think I would make a great fit for your family and are willing to be patient and help me learn proper manners to be an even better girl, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meeet you!
