My name is Joy!

Meet Joy, a 2 year old Toy Poodle mix who weighs just 7 pounds. Joy came to us from a bit of hoarding/breeding situation, but she is acclimating to the good life very nicely. She may be a bit shy and nervous at first, but with a little patience, you’ll discover her sweet and loving nature. Once she warms up to you, she becomes the calmest and cuddliest companion, happiest when snoozing on your lap. Joy has been making great progress with crate and potty training. She has not had any recent accidents and she tries to tell you when she needs to go outside. She also gets along great with the dog in her foster home, though she may need some time to feel comfortable in new environments. If you’re looking for a gentle, snuggly pup to share your days with, Joy is ready to bring love and warmth into your home! She will steal your heart and be your BFF. She is fully vetted and vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption. Her adoption donation fee is $425. We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!!
