My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m KC! I’m a 4 year old female Anatolian Shepherd mix. I’m a big girl at 92 lbs and my foster mom says I should gain another 5-10 lbs. Good thing because I LOVE to eat. My foster mom says I’m very “food motivated” and she’s been using that to train me.
I love everyone I meet, especially kids. I live with another big dog and two cats. I really like playing with the dog. The cats don’t want to play with me, which makes me sad but I get it. I’d love a forever home that would take me on walks and let me curl up on the couch with them.
I can’t wait for my forever home!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Submit Application

Approve Application

We perform vet and landlord checks if necessary and will contact you if your application is approved.

3.
Meet the Pet

If approved, a volunteer will bring the dog to your home for a meet & greet and home check.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the adoption representative and you agree the dog is a good fit for your family, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the fee.

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.
