Millie is a small dog with a huge capacity for love and affection! She made a seamless transition into her foster home, surprising them with her enthusiasm for meeting new people. Millie spent the first 4 years of her life with a breeder and appears to have not had a wide variety of experiences. She is timid and nervous when meeting new dogs and going for car rides but she seems confident exploring homes and backyards and interacting (and cuddling) with people of all ages. She is totally unfazed by the small humans in her foster home who hug her and use her as a pillow. She loves food, is calm in a crate, and has not had any accidents indoors. She is happiest with a fluffy dog bed positioned close to wherever the action is. She is also content when placed in laps or on furniture, but she does not climb/jump up on her own.

More about this rescue
S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal.
Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes.
We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.
