Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Winona came to us from Pasadena Humane Society on November 30th. She is 10 years old and weighs 11 lbs. Winona is a very sweet and quiet girl who enjoys the company of other dogs, walks, being cuddled, and riding in the car.
Winona went on a Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she is like in a home environment. Her Fling Mom reports:
"Winona is an amazing angel dog. She is so gentle and loving!
Winona is very open to all people. At first, she would seem a little startled when we would pick her up or pet her, but by the end of our time with her, she sought us out to hang out near us and enjoyed being held and falling asleep on our laps!
Winona was indifferent to our dog and didn’t mind when he would sniff her or lay next to her. Winona is fabulous about using potty pads! She would always get off her blanket to on the pad.
Winona would thrive in a home with a yard for her to roam and smell! She did pretty well on walks when we would give her lots of room on the sidewalk to walk. She does walk slowly and kind of bobs around in zig zags or circles. but she also enjoyed long walks with us when we would put her in the stroller! She is a perfect stroller baby!
Winona is great in the car, and she takes a bath so well, we bathed her twice! She is learning to enjoy a dog bed and blankets and she has so much love to give."
Winona is back on-site and ready for a forever home. Might it be with you?
Stop by to meet Winona and our other on-site Frosted Faces any day of the week between 10 AM and 3 PM. We look forward to your visit!
