My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Arwen as a kitten from the local rescue shelter during 2020. She will turn five in April 2025.
She has been an indoor cat her entire life.
Arwen loves a calm, quiet household. She gets spooked easily, particularly when she hears fireworks and low rumbling sounds (such as the sink disposer or motorcycle exhaust). She has not been exposed to young children or teenagers. She hid the one time she was exposed to a dog. She lived with another kitten during 2020 but has not experienced another cat since.
She is mostly an aloof cat, not liking to be picked up, but, instead, Arwen likes to choose when she wants attention. She likes sitting on laps and sleeping on top of you (on top of the covers) at night.
Arwen is not good about drinking from a bowl, but prefers to drink from a running water source.
Arwen loves watching out the windows, especially at squirrels and birds. She enjoys cat TV on YouTube.
She is a fairly quiet cat, but will meow when she wants attention, food or water.
