My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

File #24-256Current Foster Location: Limoges, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, Im Buck, your future best friend and part-time stand-up comedian (literally, I stand on two feet to scope out the snacks). Mornings? Oh, those are for chatting. Ive got so much to say! Once Ive shared all my thoughts, its potty time, then breakfast, and then Im ready to follow you around the house like your personal shadow. Im amazing with other dogsmy foster siblings think Im part of the pack! But if its just you and me, thats cool too. Ill keep you entertained with my smarts, charm, and yes, these ears (I mean, come on, have you seen them?). Im housetrained, crate-trained, car-ride-approved, and know all the basic commands. Basically, Im the full package with a side of hilarious personality. Just give me some exercise and love, and Ill be the best buddy youve ever had. So, what do you say? Lets make this officialyou bring the treats, Ill bring the fun! Please visit our website www.ittakesavillagedogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.

Home Check

A virtual home visit along with 2 reference checks is done to confirm safe and suitable home (one reference is a vet if possible)

5.

Approve Application

A call with the applicant and adoption team is held to finalize, and then send contract.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

Contract and addendum if needed is sent to the applicant.

7.

Pay Fee

Additional adoption info

We use a team to cover different steps in the process so that we have input from several individuals to confirm dog/puppy is a fit in the new family and we have the correct forever home.
