My name is Basil!

Basil was born in a small-town workshop June 2022 to a small litter. While he was a kitten, we suspect he ran into a jagged object that punctured his eye. He came to our front door for and we took him to the vet who said they could not save the eye with the damage it had and so basil has only one eye. While nurturing his recovery we fell in love with his gentle nature and his talent for biscuit making. His one eye has never stopped him from having zoomies and enjoying his life. He loves to sunbathe on the windowsill and watch the going ons outdoors. He enjoys laying on your lap if you're doing homework on a computer and loves to keep warm at night by snuggling up to your hip. He is a bit skittish and will avoid dogs but has never reacted violently to them. After a short acclimation period he makes quick friends with other cats. He is a patient cat and will endure forced affection for a while before removing himself to solitude under furniture. Please give this sweet boy a loving home<3
