My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Acquired Gracie from a couple that moved into an apartment that did not allow pets. They were going to return her to her original owner who didn't want her and was going to have her euthanized. My sister had just had her Jack Russell die and told her about Gracie. She took her immediately so she wouldn't be put to death. My sister recently broke her hip in a bad fall on Thanksgiving Day. They operated on her the next day. She'll be going into a rehab home for several weeks but probably end up in a carehome permanently. Gracie will be too much for her to handle from now on as she's probably one of the reasons she fell. Gracie is very active. My sister is 76 years old. I'm 78 years old and have Spinal Stenosis. I currently have Gracie to take care of but I'm too old to keep her permanently. She's a good dog and needs a good active home. That's definitely not me and no longer my sister. I'm not about to abandon her though or even think of euthanization.
