Meet Shadough!

Shadough is a sweet and playful Labrador Retriever/Pitbull mix puppy looking for his new home just in time for Christmas! This goofy boy is full of energy and charm, with a love for toys and a knack for turning anything into a plaything—so puppy-proofing is a must!

He’s been living with big dogs, cats, and even a toddler in his foster home. While he’s friendly and eager to please, he’s still learning his manners and can get a little too excited at times. Shadough would thrive with another playful pup or an active family to help him burn off energy and teach him the ropes.

When it’s time to chill, Shadough loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch with his head in your lap. Though he can be vocal when crated, he calms down quickly with patience and consistency.

This lovable pup needs a family ready to dedicate time, energy, and training to help him grow into the amazing companion he’s destined to be. Could Shadough be your holiday miracle? ❤️

Shadough is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/14/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
