Rudolph is a 2 year old Westie mix who is ready to shine bright in his forever home this holiday season! Rudolph was rescued from the shelter with a few of his holiday pals. We don’t know how this handsome gentleman landed in the shelter but we promised to find him the very best forever home. Rudolph weighs 12 pounds and he has a fabulously fluffy coat that shines in both the sun and the snow. We know this dude will lead your pack to presents and cookies in no time, so hitch up your sleigh and add Rudolph to the lineup today!

Rudolph is a happy and loving little reindeer who will prance into your arms with a smile on his face and a wag in his tail! This boy hopped right into the arms of his rescuer and showered her in kisses within a minute of meeting her, and that pretty much sums up the amazing dog Rudolph is. He loves his toys almost as much as he loves his cookies, which is almost as much as he loves his humans. Basically, there’s nothing in this world that doesn’t fill Rudolph with joy and happiness. He would be an amazing addition to any home. Looking for a hiking buddy as you check out the local trails and paths? Rudolph is ready to prance along by your side. Ready to snuggle and watch a Christmas movie at the end of a busy day of shopping? Rudolph is eagerly waiting for his serving of (dog friendly) hot chocolate and popcorn! He will shower you in kisses and hugs as he shows you how happy he is to be in your life. Basically, if you picture the best dog in the world, you’ll be close to picturing Rudolph. He’s even better!

Rudolph starts his morning at 7 AM when he heads out on a potty walk with the resident household dogs. He comes inside for some cuddles before he enjoys breakfast. While his foster mom gets started on her workday, Rudolph gets his toys ready for a day of fetch. He is great at keeping himself occupied when he needs to, but he also loves a cuddle session when you need a screen break. Rudolph goes out every few hours to potty. In the afternoon, he goes on a walk with the pack where he sniffs to his heart's content. He gets dinner at 7 PM and then spends the rest of his evening cuddling and snoozing.

Rudolph is the star of all the reindeer games at his foster home! He hasn’t met anyone he hasn’t charmed instantly! Dogs? He’s ready to play! Cats? New best friends! Humans? He’s ready for snuggles. Rudolph walks very well on a leash and adores his daily romps. He is crate trained but he would prefer a throne of blankets. Rudolph is almost house trained and will be a pro in no time, as he loves treats and responds quickly to positive reinforcement. If you’re hoping to light the sky and lead your family to snuggles, adopt Rudolph from our reindeer rescue today!

Rudolph is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
