Meet Frijol – Your New Best Buddy!

Hi there, I’m Frijol! Whether you’re looking for a hiking partner, a loyal shadow, or a TV snuggle buddy, I’m your guy. I’m an 8-year-old English Pointer who’s ready to fill your life with love and companionship.

I’m a social butterfly who gets along with just about everyone—men, women, kids, dogs, and even cats! I’ve been hanging out at the dog park with my foster brother, where I love meeting new friends while keeping a close eye on my foster mom.

When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a little stiff and out of shape, but with regular exercise, some dental work, and a healthier diet, I’ve dropped a few pounds and rediscovered my bounce! Now I’m prancing around like a pup half my age, ready to explore the world with my forever family.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, I’m ready to be your best-ever buddy. Let’s make some memories together! 🐾

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge. We have no paid employees, only volunteers.
