Maria is a sweet, gentle girl who is looking for her forever family.
Maria came to Cameron Animal Rescue with her kitten, already pregnant with another litter. She was a wonderful mother to each of those kittens, and even fostered an orphaned kitten. But now that her kittens are old enough, she is ready to be adopted. She will make a wonderful addition to any home looking for a quiet, affectionate cat.
Maria is gentle but playful, and loves attention. She is healthy and FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption includes her full series of FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, Rabies vaccine; her spay; fecal testing and deworming; microchipping. Maria is good with other cats, but doesn't particularly like dogs. She is gentle with children, but would need to be tested on an individual basis. She can be adopted with another cat, or as a single pet.
Maria likes to play, especially with wand toys that she can chase, but she is not high energy, and is equally happy looking out the window and watching the birds. She loves attention and affection, but is not always in your face and is happy to relax nearby. Maria just wants a family to love, and to be loved by in turn.

The $250 adoption donation for cats and kittens is non-refundable and includes the following:
--Full initial series of FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations; follow up vet exams will be scheduled for any remaining vaccines at the time of adoption.
--FeLV and FIV testing.
--Initial fecal testing; complete treatment until the animal tests negative.
--Initial prophylactic deworming.
--Spay/Neuter.
--Microchip.
--Feline Bartonella testing, treatment, and titration testing for all cats over 1 year old.
*The adoption donation does not include pet insurance, additional testing, subsequent vaccinations or medical care after the animal has been adopted.
Adoption fees vary for pure-bred cats, dogs and small mammals. Please enquire about a specific animal for more information.

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more.
