My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brownie is a male chihuahua mix who is about 6 years old.  He weighs 15 pounds and has the cutest light brown eyebrows.  He is a wonderful size to sit on your lap.  Brownie is a perfect cozy companion.  He loves to sit on the couch and snuggle.  He adores being petting and kissed.  He likes going in the car and wants to drive!  He is in a wonderful foster home with 4 other chihuahua dogs.  So we know he gets along well with dogs.  We don’t know about cats.  He is so sweet we’re pretty sure he’d love being around children who adore him.  His favorite exercise is trotting around the backyard perimeter doing a security check.   If you are looking for a buddy to be your best friend, look no further.  Brownie is for you.

More about this rescue

Our niche is rescuing elusive dogs who have been living on the streets of Dallas, Tx. We spend days, weeks and sometimes months trying to catch a certain dog. The dogs then move into loving foster homes so they can be part of a family and learn more about home life. We have found that these dogs are extremely resilient and quickly adapt to life off the streets and make great additions to a family!

The dogs are vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested (and treated if positive). We spend a lot of time and energy getting these dogs off the streets so are very diligent in who they go to. We want to make sure it's going to be the ideal fit for both the adopter and the dog. We help them find the loving home they deserved all along! Please visit our facebook page to follow more of our adventures: www.facebook.com/duckteam6
