My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Playful dogs like me want to enjoy all sorts of games with you. We can play anything you want! I like tug of war, wrestling matches, and chasing after things. It`s important for me to be both physically and mentally active. I’m on my best behavior when I receive regular physical and mental activity! I love meeting new folks and getting some zoomies out. I have done fairly well meeting all types of dogs here at the shelter and would likely enjoy an energetic friend at home to play with.

We do same day adoptions. Adoptions are first-come, first-serve. Bring valid ID, and payment. We do not place animals on hold.

The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service.

HSC is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and we do not receive government funding.
