My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I know I`m no longer a kitten but I would love to be the Baby in your home! I`m a sweet girl who loves attention and is all for it. I may love gaining affection and attention but I don`t like being picked up, so I ask please don`t, no matter how cute I am. Now as I said I would love to be the baby in your home but I want to be the only baby in the home. I prefer to be the only cat at home. Also I tend to be a bit scared of kids so I would love to have a space with maybe older kids or no kids. I know I have some quirks but I think we can get along great! Won`t you come meet me and see if we make the purrrfect match!

Additional adoption info

Our website, IndyHumane.org, is updated daily with pets who are available for adoption. Third-party sites, such as Adopt-a-Pet and others, are not accurate or reliable sources of information about our shelter pets. Please visit IndyHumane.org for more information and to check the status of a particular pet.
Each adoptable cat and dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption counselors are happy to share their behavioral and medical background with you during the application process!
We are a non-profit shelter with limited staff. Answers to common questions can be found at IndyHumane.org!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

You can find up-to-date information on all of our available pets by visiting IndyHumane.org/Cats or IndyHumane.org/Dogs. Adopt-a-Pet is a third party site and not a source of reliable, updated information.

Our website is updated throughout each day, so if you see a pet on there that you are interested in, as long as their photo is on the website it means they are still available. Each profile will have a link for their online application. Please fill out an application for the pet you'd like to meet and a member of our team will contact you within 24-48 hours for more info and to schedule an intro. Thanks!
