My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Winter, named after her stunning silver coat 😍 Winter, along with her two sisters, gave birth to beautiful kittens in June. Luckily for them, the kitties were taken care of by a wonderful rescuer, and they all moved into cozy indoor living with OFR! Winter is being fostered with her daughter, Ivy, and her nephew, Jack. It's not a requirement, but if Winter is adopted with one of the kids, her adoption fee is waived! Winter can also go home with her sister, Cutie Pie.

Winter is a 1 year old calm and gentle soul. After a little adjustment in a new home, Winter realizes that pets feel nice... really, really nice 😂 Winter is looking for a home that will provide her with excellent scratches and pets - top quality is a must. She's cat friendly and could thrive in a home with another cat to cuddle up to! Respectful kids are also completely fine - she can bond to anyone that gives her the love and comfort she seeks ❤️

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
