My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baron, a 10-month-old Shepherd Mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Baron is the definition of playful energy—he’s full of life, spark, and curiosity, always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk around the block, or simply exploring new surroundings, Baron is eager to jump in with both paws!

This Lord of the Manor is not only intelligent but also eager to please, so training him will be a rewarding experience for any family or pawrent. He is incredibly food motivated, which makes him a quick learner. Baron's energetic spirit and playful demeanor make him a perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to provide him with the exercise, mental stimulation, and attention he craves. A fenced yard would be ideal to give him the space to run and play, though he would thrive in any environment where his mind and body can stay busy.

Baron has shown that he is dog-friendly, from growing up with brother Rockwell, making him an excellent addition to a home with other pets. While Baron has not yet been exposed to kids or cats in our care, he has a gentle and affectionate nature, and we believe he would likely do well with both, given proper introductions and supervision.

With his boundless energy and affectionate nature, Baron is looking for a loving home where he can be part of the family, enjoy plenty of playtime, and continue to grow into the wonderful dog we know he will be. If you're looking for an energetic, smart, and loving companion, Baron might just be the perfect fit for you!

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
