My name is Rusty!

Hi world, I’m Rusty a young lab mix who is thankful that Life Part 1 is over. Was no fun living on the streets alone or being in that place with all the other stray dogs. Happily the humans at Roses rescued me. Now living in a foster home, with two other dogs and two humans who I like to be with. We have a big yard which is super fun to run in and a comfy, warm place to snuggle and sleep afterwards. Since arriving I learned to go outside for potty, to sit and come, and to not counter surf. What I’m still working on is reacting to new noises. Foster mom said I just need time to “decompress” whatever that means. All I know is I can hardly wait for my forever family. I am going to make someone a really great best friend.

Foster Mom here … this boy is sweet and loyal. He wants to be with and to please his humans. He learns quickly. He runs free and comes when called. He has liked every person and dog he has met. One of the good ones!
